I’m not just serving on the school board—I’m a District 2 mom with a recent graduate and two sons currently in our public schools. I’ve experienced Wake County Public Schools as a student, a teacher, an advocate, and a parent. I know what’s working, and I know what must change for our children to truly thrive.
Meet Christina
I am a Raleigh native and a product of WCPSS. I owe my love of public schools to my late grandmother, a WCPSS educator and administrator. Today, I am a fierce public school advocate raising three sons (who all attend WCPSS) with my husband.
My career has been dedicated to the classroom, but my heart is in our community. Running for re-election means continuing to fight for the same thing for all children that I want for mine: a school system that treats teachers like the experts they are and gives every student, regardless of their zip code, a fair shot at greatness, as well as the social emotional care that every child needs.

Student Centered Policies
Every student deserves an excellent education, a sense of belonging, and the opportunity to thrive. I champion policies that support the whole child, strengthen student achievement, and ensure every student has access to outstanding schools—regardless of their ZIP code.
Educator Driven Investiment
Great schools begin with great educators. I advocate for competitive pay, meaningful professional growth, and working and living conditions that allow educators to stay in the profession and do their best work. When we invest in educators, we invest in students.
Community Focused Shared Decision Making
The best decisions are made with our community, not for our community. I believe in transparent leadership, authentic partnerships, and ensuring families, students, educators, and community members have a voice in shaping the future of our schools.
